Broken Right mirror
06/05/09 at 17:08:06

Well, I laid the bike over... I broke the right mirror off along with the piece that attaches to the assembly.. Anyone know how to replace the mirror? Does everything have to come off to get to it ie: brake, starter controls, ect? Any advice welcome! It's a 2001 Ls650

So it broke the mount off to? because then yes you will have to replace that whole assy. There has been a couple of threads on here on how people made new ways to hold a mirror. Might have to search a little bit.

Yes, it broke the place where you screw it in.. So replacing the assembly means brake handle, brake box and all? I did a search on broken right mirror but didn't turn up and results..

Options seem to be run with only the left mirror, do bar-end mirrors, get a mirror that clamps to the handlebar or get a whole new unit.

Thanks guys!! couple more questions... since I am not mechanically inclined, what is that unit called? I will try to rig a clamp mirror on the left side.. Doesn't look like alot of room but I will try!

Hey uys, I just want to thank eveyone that wrote for the advice. I was able to find a part for the right mirror. It's called a Holder SKU: 59671-38A00 is the OEM number. Luckly the Suzuki repair shop around the corner has one in stock. So, if anyone else breakes this part... this is what you need!  Cheesy
