Mixture Gauge

Seems like the quest for correct jetting is never ending around here.  What do y'all think about mounting a mixture gauge?  On ebay that kit is a bit cheaper at $200, which is still a lot, but I wonder how much fun it would be to watch your mix change as you're rolling down the road.  Maybe there are cheaper solutions?  Other than plug chops and the seat-o-pants-meter of course.

Cheaper to fit a O2 sensor in the exhaust. I got mine free from the back alley of a muffler shop.
Get one off a 91-94 chevy cavalier, weld a nut in the header with that thread and run ... an milli volt meter will tell you rich or lean.
Cool.
Srinath.
