For wierd stuff I do to my Zuk, I usualy begin at google.com Wink Google for images, forums, no need to be savage-specific, bikes are bikes, just get the general idea how that works and can you operate it comfortably. I wanted it and gave up. Trafic is so dense here that I shift a lot and need both hands on grips. Once you get ideas on how it CAN be done, think over options again. That's the start. Next is a sketch, measures, welding & bending...

Look at the kikker's suicide system,
it's as simple as they come, real low
and discrete sitting under one's left
thigh; these bikes are semi-automatic
so there is no need for a clutch.

I really like these things, might just
get me one of em' soonish!

Just saw in an ATV catalog an extension for the foot shift on an ATV that would solve the shifter extension part, no jusy rig a foot operated clutch and you are in heaven. Max  Found the catalog again shadetreepowersports.com  Americian ATV Hand shifters.
