Depends on what bars you have on now.
If you have drag(flat)bars,you can't run Z's.
If you have buckhorns(pullbacks)there are guys on here running 10" mini apes.
Reason being they use different cables.brakehose for different bars.

I have 10" mini apes on mine and another inch would render the stock cables and hoses useless.  Mine actually measure about 9.75" inches so you might wanna watch out on some of the aftermarket mini apes.  I re-routed the clutch and throttle cable to get a little more length out of them around the front end.  Hope this helps.  And you want 1" bars if you didnt already know that.  

P.S. Changing the bars out was actually very easy.  Only thing I did or modded while I was changing mine was I cut off the little nub inside the left (and cant remember if the right side control box had one) control box that sat in a hole drilled in the stock buckhorn bars so the box wouldn't rotate around the handlebars.  This actually ended up being necessary since I had to rotate the control boxes anyways to achieve the correct lever placements with the higher mini apes.  HTH and lemme know if you have any questions.
