its not the battery i just tried jumping it and i tapped the cables to gether and it has plenty of spark i dunno what it could be now i just rode it this morning so im confused please someone help!!!!!!!!!!111

  check the fuse on the right under the seat edge.

try the 2 main harness connectors to the battery... one for hot, one for ground... if you check the 400 other threads on this subject, you'll find that the pos connector seems to "loosen".... by the way "tapping" those jumpers together while hooked to the battery can destroy your ignition box, your rectifier, your stator windings, and your pickup coil... the fact that you had no continuity probably saved you from having to drop a couple hundred to fix what you could have fried... get a test light or a VOM, dont tap positive leads to ground....

check the old one, see it it's broken from vibration, or burnt... if burnt, you have an underlying problem to fix still....
