I used a 1 3/4" one and I think I may could go smaller as I have a tiny exhaust leak since it wont get the muffler tightened down all the way. Thanks! -Matt

I went with the 1 5/8". It went over the header end of the adapter with no problems, but the muff end needed a little friendly persuasion (hammertime! Cheesy

). As far as I can tell, it's sealed up so far.

Oh, and I also got a heat shield slapped on it tonight finally. It's off a Harley of some kind, not exactly sure. They had boxes full of used heat shields, I just poked around til I found a straight one about the right length. $10! Smiley

You can still see the u-bolts peeking out, but oh well, might help keep my pant-leg from getting all crispyfied.
