question..silver rod and small spring..

about a 2inch silver looking rod and a small spring fell out of the side of the engine near the clutch. does anyone know where this goes and how to put it back?

yes. but its not with me. my buddy is doin some stuff to it and i asked if he can fix it and he said he wud try to find where it goes. i figured if i asked on here someone might know

If there is a cable attached to it, it would be the lever that actuates the clutch. Is the spring round with little hooks on it? Not real long, but bigger around.

the rod is number 22 in that diagram.. but the spring is reallly small. do u need to remove the clutch to replace that rod?

I'm not really sure. I might just be a loose fit and slide back in. If the spring is not number 25 then I'm not fully sure where it goes.

What I was trying to get at was you didn't tell me alot.
The rod just slips into the center of the clutch.
Is this spring about the size of your little finger?
check the inside of the clutch cover is there a spring there?
