Having been run down from behind, I like to know whats back there in the blind spots. My 2004 has mirrors that are almost teardrop. Form did not follow function!

I've got a set of round mirrors on mine. the fellow i bought the bike from said he put them on himself.

At any speed other than idle (with my hands on the handle bars), I cannot see anything due to the vibrations of the mirrors. Any ideas for
a fix? I'd really like to be able to see make and model of the cars behind me instead of colored blurry masses.

If not, add bar weights to help cancel vibration. Cheap and easy! You might also try a small rubber O-ring between the mirror and the stalk.
