Is it possible to run Savage on E85?

I know ethanol based fuels are harmful to
aluminum and rubber parts; I also know that
E85 fuel, when seen realistically, is ecologically
worse that regular gas because of ground
pollution & deforestation.
BUT, would it be theoretically possible to make a Savage run on E85?
(and would the 105 octane content be somehow harmful? ...maybe 50/50?)
Cheers

Recently sold 97'savage (change of residence) - looking to buy another - just bought a temp, a great SR125 called 'methadone'

The owners manual stated to use 87 and nothing else.

possible, not too practical.... the higher the octane, the harder to ignite, and slower to burn... with a completely non-adjustable ignition, these bikes arent too suited to "exotic" fuel mixes....

The more alcohol in the gas, the larger the jets need to be. Jets big enough to handle it would not run well on pump gas. And the timing would need to be advanced.
I would not try it. No good can come of it.

BTW , a theory is just a hunch with pretentions to an education. Many things taught in the school of theory don't work for crap in the real world.
