I always find my self riding on my bike looking down at that darn sidestand and have to give it a little push up with my foot because the spring is so darn weak. So I decided to take off the spring today to replace it with a new one from Home Depot. To make a long story short, I made the dumb mistake of not checking where the spring attaches to (the side not attached to the sidestand). I've tried countless different places to place the spring on and cannot find the spot for it.  I need some help (a pic if you can!). It's a '96 Savage.

there's a big post just in front of the rear bolt on the underside of the kickstand mount.

Follow the spring in the picture and you'll find it.
