I've got a couple of spare cylinders sitting on the shelf waiting for something to do .................................................hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It would help if I had a lot more spare money though....
wouldn't it be fun to have a kit with a 97mm piston, bored cyl with silicone carbide treatment, and perf. cam/carb combo    Cheesy

It would give about 694cc but it would be getting mighty thin on the lower cylinder sleeve skirt. Try it and tell us how well it works.

hehe  ME!  Cheesy

1999 LS650 w 17K

Lancer performance cam
Verslagen1 verslavy
Lancer upgraded cam chain (on order)
Complete OEM gasket set
Lancer jet set
Bore Tech (bore, hone and silicone carbon treatment)... and an o/s      Suzuki piston kit.
K&N 1250 air filter
Autozone crankcase breather filter
Savage Eddie '96 engine 10K  (cam, cam tensioner and transmission)

Now that is engine only, when I am done and assembled (and works lol),

Then, the body piece by piece as IT WILL BE RIDDEN AT THIS POINT!

Paint, suspension, seat... anything else?

So.....  Taking the engine apart TODAY!   Shocked  so all my comments will be on my thread untill I ride!

Wolf  Lips Sealed

ps.  Since this is a total engine rebuild... I may be changing bearings and such too.

Pretty much what Im going for.

By the way Lancer. In about a year I'll be sending you the better part of $1K. Stage 1 Cam, Barnett clutch plates/springs, Perf Carb kit w UFO. Maybe DAJ....I plan on a 95 or 96 boretech carbide dealy and corresponding wiseco piston.
I dont plan on porting or a more open header at this point but probably in the future. In which case, would just going ahead and getting a stage 2 be more cost effective in the long run or do you think id be better off getting a stage 1 for now? At this point I have stock airfilter, stock header, SE slash cut. Stock Carb - 55 w/bleed holes pilot, 3 washers, 155 main (still a bit lean. Could use a 157.5).
