08 Windsheild fitment

In my first post I asked about windshields because I got one free when I purchased my 08 S40; it is the Suzuki sport windshield that mounts on the handle bars. I only used it about a week and got tired of my head shaking from the wind (I wear glasses so I could not see the road). I like the looks of the Memphis Big Shot but when I checked thier web site for mounting kit fitment, the charts only list up to 07 S40's; Cruiser Customizing states "This accessory fits all current model years." I contacted Cruiser Customizing about this and I have not received a response yet. Help from anyone with an 08

Head bobble can occur with any windshield.  It's caused by the turbulence coming off the top of the windshield.  Raise the windshield and it will go over the top.  lower it and it will go under.  Lowering it is great for summer, lets more wind in the helmet.

I'm alllllmoooost ready to pull mine off for the summer.  When the temperature gets up above 40 in the mornings, I think I'll jerk it off of there.  For now, it helps keep away the "blues."  (Blue lips, fingers, etc.) Smiley

I don't know anything about the Memphis windshields, but be awfully careful trusting those fitment charts the catalogues show you.  We bought more than one windshield that was supposed to fit Kay's bike, before we found one that would actually stay on the thing.

You also might consider this stuff:

They also make:

http://www.saeng.com/dproduct.php?id=584&category=71

but I don't think that would look good on our bikes.
