bypassing clutch interlock

I'm cleaning up the wiring on my bike and I moved the left control down to space between the risers. As it is now, I need to manually press the clutch interlock switch with my left hand as I start.

If I just splice together the wires going into the connector for the switch, will there be any sort of power draw on the bike when it's off?  Im assuming not but I want to be sure.

There shouldn't be an issue.  The Y/G wire is only energized when you hit the starter button.
