Hey Kenny, exactly is a "slight" amount...since the dampers are rubber, they are gonna give a little.  So..........?

Mine was getting a bit sloppy & I shimmed it with some innertube pieces.

a little play is ok, slop isnt.... the cushions are reasonably cheap, fairly easy to install, and dont drip oil or grease... if you suspect them, change them.... shimming with innertube?... lol, i once had a set that was mostly electrical tape....  also had a "mysterious" vibration from the rear....  Wink
