i went 2 work last night and this new dude just started....turns out he just sold his boulevard and bought a shadow....so as we were leaving he rode over and i was checking it out....i h8 the way it sounds....it looks nice but it doesn't sound menacing like mine...

so i asked him how the 2 compare...he said he misses the gas mileage on the savage but likes the little extra speed from the shadow...he even admitted that the shadow sounds tame compared 2 a stock thumper....and also swears the 650 had more torque lol

after what i've seen custom wise on this site & how the backfire makes me smile...i'm not so sure i would want 2 get another bike....the only thing that might make me change is the triumph speedmaster....but have u seen the price on those things?! i am definately content with being "unique" engine wise and def sound...the fact that she looks like a classic is a bonus!
