I fussed with getting that thing to line up too. Takes a while, but once you've discovered the trick to line it up for your bike, it's a cinch. I took the crap tools outta there, and use the space for a small first aid kit. Oh yeah, I tossed the rubber gasket too, the first week I had it. Too much trouble getting that thing back on. It never stayed in place. I guess that would technically count as my first "mod".
