Belt adjustment
04/27/09 at 15:10:24

My Savage didn't have the belt tension gauge in the tool kit.

Can anyone provide the way to measure the correct tension of the drive belt without the special gizmo?

Thanks

90 degree twist method is better anyway the tool tends to get it too tight

Hmmm, I think my belt may be a bit too tight... the one on the bike... the drive belt on the bike... Cheesy

So tighten just enough so it's possible to put a 90° twist by hand in the bottom of the belt?
