Try this post. Looks good, doesn't cost much, and appears to be a rather easy install. It's one I considered before my seat mod.

I've put this style seat on my Savage. I think it is a nice comfortable ride.
I also bought my set of of Palladin's posted site.

This springer conversion involves a Harley Davidson police seat, and was the first to appear on this site.  As you will see, the conversion was built to last, and although one of our moderators said ," it looks like crap to me", I can ride on this seat the entire day with absolutely no fatigue, and the ride is so soft that it makes no difference what kind of shocks you have on the bike. Its designed for the man who is not trying to impress other people at the cost of his comfort.

LOVE IT!  But, it "LOOKS LIKE CRAP"!   Grin  (Actually, it looks like an ejector seat that has misfired!)
Got to be one of the most comfortable seats around.  I love my Corbin on my Honda ACE, but after I sat on a friends Police KZ1000, I was really drooling after his seat.  Those police butts are comfortable.

Yea.. I'm not too crazy about the way the plice seat looks either. I like paladins because it is lower profile. But hey who knows the Police seat may look fine with ape hangers.
