Rear Shocks

Any suggestions about a replacement shock to use to soften the ride on an '07? Even with the shocks on their softest setting the ride is harsh for a light rider.

Are these Progressives also shorter than stock?

Thanks!

4005s are quite soft. Im 180 and on the highest setting. They're VERY comfortable and only bottom out on large bumps with a passenger. A million times better than stock even if i did get ones a bit light for me. The stock shocks just suck no matter what setting you're on.

I think the 4233 are a little light for me at 165 I use the middle  setting I think a shock that you use the lowest setting would be best, then if you have a passenger you can go up,and they do wear over time and get softer

I need to go the other way. I need to stiffen mine up and maybe even get about 1/2 inch longer with stronger springs.

I would think the 4236C w/it's 125/170lb sprngs are about as much as
you can do and still it functional -

Soft Ride 11"    412-4232C   90/130lb
Standard 11"   412-4233C 115/155lb
Standard 11.5"     412-4201C 115/155lb
Heavy Duty 11.5"  412-4236C 125/170lb
