Finally got around to trying the seat spacer mod last week, and am now wondering why I waited so long to do it!  It also finally made me figure out how to post pics, so I could share my "handiwork".

And an older mod, the big honkin' magnet!  Works pretty good on most traffic lights; there's still a few stubborn ones.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't picked anything up in the year it's been down there.  First ride I took it on after I put it on, I ran over an end wrench on one of the back roads, about 40 mph, heard it clink, thought for sure I'd just picked me up a new wrench.  But when I pulled over, no wrench.  It sure did try to hang onto the wrench when I was bolting it on though!
