I don't think there's ever a check valve.  You are always able to spread the pads and the fluid returns.

Ok, so here's a low buck idea, walley world sells a plastic syringe ($3 something) with a length of tubing.  Either use the syringe to pull a vacuum and pull fluid down from the top or fill it with fluid and push it up from the top.

Naw, RV section, it's for mixing 2 stroke oil and such.
Although, the down the nose feeding tube would be longer.   Tongue

I'm a fan of the mighty vac.  Sorry.....  The stupid tube and bottle draining method just didn't work at all.  And no amount of pumping either...   I really had to suck the bugger out when I did the fronts and only the mighty vac could do that.

So... got fluid to the pads... but its still not working! think I will take the brakes off the back whell press the cylinder in and try to go from there! Hopeully that will work... Bled the lines by the way and no air that I can get out!

Ok... Im runnin a brakeless frontend! I bled the calliper in the rear and no air is coming out... but no pressure on the brakes... its going through 3/16 steel line from the brake pedal to the rear caliper about 3.5" but that shouldn't matter as long as it has pressure in the line... which is the case cause when I bleed it comes out.... just frustrated is all! Hows that for details?

Rear brake's a bit harder to bleed. I would remove the whole thing and leave it hanging on the wall overnight (master cylinder highest). Pump the piston out and push in, tap the caliper and the line so any bubbles would rise to master cylinder. There has to be some air trapped somewhere if there's fluid but still no proper pressure.
