Mine's cheaper and I got a pile of them for free.
Well not really, they cost around $20 and take some 5 to 10k miles to make.
After that, they're perfectly good timing port cover removers.
Take a used (no, I don't throw anything away, unless of it's on fire or gonna blow up or somethin') front brake pad, jam the skinny end into the slot and twist it with a wrench.
However, judicious use of a hacksaw, and a file turns it into a great dual handled cover twister.
