ISO Grips

Just to make sure before I spend the money to order these grips.  The S40 is a 1" bar and I can install these grips without the assistance of the base machine shop right?

Great!  Thanks.

When you put the new grips on use grip glue or grip tape.  Do not use nothing and/or hair spray.  I am talking from experience here.  Almost had a grip come off on the highway once.  Would not have been fun if I hadn't caught it in time.

Be ready to do some sanding.  The throttle sleeve has ribs and two collars that need to be sanded down for the grip to fit.  A dremel tool works really well.

You gotta hyper link them in. Use the little picture icon (third on the upper left of the dialog box when posting) and copy and paste the url of your picture. I post pics to bikepics, facebook, myspace, snapfish, photobucket etc them link them from there.

Your pic's have to be uploaded to some host other than here (full)

open the pic, right click, select properties, copy the address, click on the image icon, and paste the address between the brackets like so...

Ok, after a couple beers and some quality time with a dremel tool, I think I'm all done.  Definately an improvement in comfort for my hands.  I'll try and paste pictures after I get them uploaded.
