bro, im as wet behind the ears as you. im sure with a little practice i could do it (ill pinstripe the new bikes tank and see how it turns out) ill post pics when i do....
i have always drawn, school desks, jean jackets etc. never painted a thing til now. i did design my tattoo! thought about getting into that too, thats permanent. hate to screw up someones skin!

update: just picked up new mirrors and halogen lights for the skull headlight project. 2 inch round, still think they are too big but for 12.00 its worth a shot...... headed out tomorrow for front custom pegs!

Where'd you get those mirrors, been looking and those look great, just checked my state laws (new to GA) and I only need one.  That way i can keep my nice new bars a little less clutter free.

on ebay bro! heres the link for the seller, LINK
it said he only had one set. search ebay with this phrase: Chrome Maltese Mirror Set for Harley & Custom Bikes (i paid 38.00 free shipping)

just a heads up, i received them today and the adapter kit doesn't fit. the thread pitch for the bike is 1.00 (metric) and the adapter is a lot smaller and standard thread. im going to cut a bolt and re-thread to fit. they really are a sharp looking set of mirrors up close, cant wait to get them installed.

(bolt sizes edited)

ok, so i made my own adapter out of a metric bolt, converting one side to a standard thread. the mirror looks fuzzy cause i have the plastic film on still....

this was the stuff i used, the bolt on the right is what they sent......

Nice.  Great job fabbing the bolt.

What did you have to do to get those pegs to work?  Just drill the hole a little larger?  They look good.

and Jim, i just drilled the holes and added a washer below to take up the space. perfect fit! now i that i know that style will work im going to get a snazzier pair...
