New Rear Fender?
01/31/09 at 09:23:18

Ok my fiance has determined she will not be riding with me. So I have no need for the back seat but it covers the electical "hub". Does anyone know the best way to modify this, or where to get the rear fender that I've seen that somehow hides this? Thanks in advance for any info.

There's plenty of ideas. You're limited only by your imagination. Do a search under the tech section and RSD. Look for "rear fender", "regulator rectifier", "bobber", "seat mod", etc. You get the idea. You'll find lots of ideas on what you can do with the rear end, in those places. Be sure to choose "all posts" toward the bottom of the search screen. Best of luck to you.

The rack is off a Sportster,.. the seat has a grey/black fake sheepskin cover that pulls tight with a drawstring,.. very comfortable... cool in summer, warm in winter...

What kind of handlebar/riser is that on your x-bike?  Very Cool looking.  How much would that set-up cost???

I did about the same thing by turning the risers around with the stock setup. Looks about the same and is free.
