Another Starter Question
01/30/09 at 05:02:54

My Starter motor has fallen to bits and is ******
before it was inspected to see my starting problems it did crank so I might be able to get it rebuilt by a company here in UK, They reckon that they can do any including Vintage.

My Question is what other sources are there google did not come up with much.

Sorry for the following long URL
but it does give a "Universal Starter Motor" which may or may not fit, my thoughts are that someone here must know part numbers or aftermarket parts or even know that other models have the same starter motor.

The motor in the link has a 4000 rpm rating.  That might be a bit high for our bikes.
