I have worn most types of helmet, and tend to wear different types at different seasons of the year. Comfort is my primary consideration. I have noticed however, that motorcycle cops always wear 3/4 helmets.

Those hot days are a bear wearing a FF. This one arrived yesterday, and it fits perfect. Can't wait to try it out in the wind. Now the search is on for the best glasses.

Mine came with straps, though I just took them off because they are not needed. The yellow ones work GREAT for at night! I have a Daytona helmet. It is DOT approved and awesome.

I love my 1/2 helmet with visor for shorter around town riding. The last time I wore it on a longer (6 hours) ride, my neck was killing me. The helmet acted as a parachute, catching air and pulling my head back the whole time. My neck was sore fore days after.

For any ride with extended time over 45 mph, I only ride with the FF with tinted visor.
