I made it all the way to the bank this morning before I realized it was closed for MLK day! I put a deposit on a 2006 Savage with only 137 miles on it Saturday and wanted to pick it up today (but I need a Cashier's check). Total price was only $3000, so I think I did good.

Actually, this will be my third LS650. I had a yellow '96 and a blue '01 in the past (this one is black). I've owned many other bikes, but seem to keep coming back to the LS650.

I even went to Lowes this morning and bought the #7 stoppers and bolts so I could do the seat lift right away. :'(

Too bad I'm dropping another $1500 into customizing parts, $600 in powdercoating, and about $750 into paint...... Oh well, $5000 for this custom project is not as bad as my Beamers I guess...... (Just don't tell the wife.......)
