Not sure if this is one of the sellers that this site has problems with. I know the problem ebayers are from FL, and so is this person. Perhaps someone else will chime in on that front.

As far as kevlar pads go, I wouldn't put them on. I would think they would eat into the rotor faster and I'm in no hurry to have to replace a rotor ($). Also, while i like stopping power as much as the next guy, the lack of ABS along with the diasterous effects a front-wheel lockup can have on a bike, i don't think its worth it.

did ebc on my 06,18 months ago picture you show is the ones i used mine were red cant find the paperwork, try tech section search for #
should b same no listed changes on front brakes..or google ebc direct!!!

They will make the tire chirp under hard braking.I let off sometimes because that little chirping sound is a warning IMO.

Do your homework before you buy. Not a bad rating though 98.8%
Kevlar is good stuff, supposed to be dustless. And less harsh on the disk.
EBC part number FA106/something
don't get the FA106 w/o the something, those are too thick.
The EBC's I got were red's which are ceramic. No squeak but didn't stop as good. Great if you're worried about stoppies.

Which reminds me... It's good practice to do some panic stops every once in a while.

Here is one of the source threads for EBC pads with pictures of the different red EBC pads that are known to be silent on our bikes.

EBC red pads cost over $25 a set, even on sale.

SBS ceramic pads are ceramic, silent and are somewhat harder on rotors. Some here still swear by them, they just replace their rotor when the time comes.

Your $14.99 Kevlar Ebay pads are "brand nameless" so far, so nobody can offer you an opinion except they are about half the price of stock or EBC or SBS pads.

Thanks for the link OF, knew I saw it somewhere. The rotor in the pix kind of looks like mine. Have a groove running along the outside creating a bit of a lip. Picked up a clean rotor off of Ebay for $10, and will be installing it with the pads.

Not really looking to save money when it comes to brakes, but always up for a good deal, just want the best pads. Have SBS on there now.
