I am trying to replace the handlebar grips but cant get the original ones off, are they glued on or fixed with a small screw that I cant see and are the grip end caps just push on fit.. kind of leaver them off with a screwdriver thing,, Oh I'd get them off alright but I don't want to mangle them, is there any way of getting them off without destroying them? all the best to you all

Before I start butchering I noticed that my new grips are a different internal size one is inch and the left is seven eighth would original inch Ls bars have different widths on the ends, if I destroy them taking them off I am not sure if the new ones will fit, is it standard practice to have different sizes on the bars,,cheers,,
