So what are you unclear about?
Gas weighs a pint a pound... roughly.
Most say the petcock is very close to the frame.
Either take it off if you're paranoid about scratching the frame
or lift and wiggle the the left.
The vent hoses point up, if you ever get the tank off, you'll see a hole in the frame in the back end of the top tube. Just think of your secratary
Throw a towel on the ground before you take the tank off so you have someplace to put it other than your sofa.
With the tank off, you can remove the cables and lines off the carb. Loosen the clamps and twist it 90° for easy access to the top and bottom.
Replace the carb screws with SS allen head screws for easier RnR.
Always apply a little antisieze to fasteners of differing materials if you ever want to get them out again.
Always use the correct tool for the job.
Read the directions before you do the job.
