This is the embarrassing part: I have 3 hoses that I no longer remember where they go. Two of them are small diameter and there is one on each side of the carb. The other is a larger hose and it comes off the right side of the carb. I have the petcock hose hooked up. haha Any help would be appreciated.

The reason for this is simple, answers are long term, questions are fleeting and repeated often. Everyone feels their situation is unique. And it's quite common to take something off and not remember how to put it back on.
