Was getting set to post some close up pix of my polished pcs and decided I might as well give this post that I ran across some credit. I did it pretty much like this also but I used wet/dry sandpaper and steel wool till it was pretty close to what I wanted. Then hit it a few times with the billet polish. Didn't use a machine, just hard work, but it looks the same as this.  http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1182464837 Oh by the way, I've heard people have different opinions about this but I was taught you're supposed to try to polish with the grain of the metal.Another useful link for ya http://www.motorcycle.co.uk/articles/polishing/how_to_polish_metal.html Have fun! The results are very worth the hard work

Thanks for the links. I've just wirebrushed a dozen years worth of corrosion of my cases (slowing doing a restore this winter) and these will help a ton. Now for the elbow grease...
