I'm also curious as to the opinion of those that have them. But I am also looking at the trail tech VAPOR, it is about a third of the price and has most of the features of the veypor.

What features do you need? You can get a digital speedo, trip odometer and clock for $25, a digital tach for $25, an oil pressure gage for $20, and route your turn signal lights and nuetral to indicators for another $10. I even added a voltage meter for about $20. and a power accessory socket for $15 to run my GPS  It's not as pretty as an integrated unit, but it sure functions well for me and I saved a bundle.

Hey verslagen, did they ever put a digital clock on the Veypor?  That was one of the main reasons (besides price) that I went with the Vapor.

It still comes down to this:
Veypor - more expensive, more features.
If it has things you need or want, then go for it.
If those features are not important to what you want it for, then get something cheaper.

For me, the Vapor was the better choice.

not doing much lake riding, but a bit of rain doing in an expensive product is important for me to know.  i like the vapor and veypor information from all of you. thank you

I have ridden in the rain many times with my Veypor with no problems at all; once was over 4 hours in a driving thunderstorm riding back from Myrtle Beach to Little Mountain and it never missed a beat...this was with 40+ mph winds, hard a_s rain mixed with pea sized hail and it nearly beat the snot out of me.  Mine has been dead reliable and accurate.
