How much difference does the Dunlop vs. stock make? Someone pointed out that the rear wheel is narrow enough to pinch the tire & make it even taller. If its supposed to redline at 99 mph with the stock tire on & someone gets to redline with the Dunlop on, then seems like they would just did the whole ton +a little.. Where are the gurus on this?

The 140/90 Dunlop raises the gear ratio enough to make the speedo accurate...probably 3 or 4% when new...I figured it out once, but have since forgot. Of course that changes with wear...
So, if you managed the ton, on a new Dunlop, it would really be the ton. On the stock IRC's you better hit 108mph just to be sure.
