The FireLizard is now a bike again, all I gotta do is syphon enough fuel out of the van (doesn't run needs engine rebuild) and I will be ready to rock and roll.

It was a perty blue, but then I spilled gas and it stripped most of the paint off of the tank. Talk about being pi$$ed off.

On a good note however, I didn't just bring the FireLizard back to life, I also brought my brother's GL500 back to life.

Yonuh Adisi,
I use to do the same, A rattle can job, plus rattle can clear.  The bikes looked great, till the gas.

But, now I'm a convert.  I had to repaint my son's '73 Honda SL70 dirtbike.  Well,.... I knew he would be spilling gas so over to Harbour Freight I went.  They have a 4 oz detailing spray gun for less than $10.  The Auto-paint store sold me the pint of single part paint (red) and the special hardener for gas resistance for a total of $18.    I did the SL70 PLUS a Rupp Hustler mini-bike with that Pint and still have at least 1/4 left.   If you compare the rattle can costs, I'm actually ahead.  And.... the detail gun goes so slow that it very hard to get the paint to run.
