Loud Rattling

Hello Folks,

I have a loud rattling sound coming from my bike these days. It  appears to occur as I am speeding up while in first gear. It is faint while at higher speeds, obviously due to wind noise. I know its not the usual odometer rattle because i fixed that. Last night the rattle was pretty loud. Rattling stops when I pull in the clutch and coast. Any Ideas???? Oh yeah, the rattling sound appears to speed as the bike speeds up?

check and make sure it's not the gas cap gasket worn thin. put you thumb on the key hole next time and see if it stops do this with your left hand of course because "Rattling stops when I pull in the clutch and coast".

yeah, gas gap sounds like a likely culprit. I just painted the tank and got paint around the the edge where the gas cap sits. will check head light and all those things. Ever since I fixed the speedo rattle all these other sound appear lol. I guess its to be expected. Thanks all.
