Before going to the DMV take the riders course at your local collage,or school, after you complete the course you get a temparary licence,RIDE your bike to the DMV give them your temp and they will issue an endorcment, thats it,no more testing.
PS, the school supples the bike ,even a helmet, you will need gloves and boots, good luck and welcome.
I already have my temp license. I am also going the coarse route, however they are all filled up and I've been trying to get to one via "walk on" but haven't had luck. Im still trying.
Quote:i was not so nice when i spoke to the county reporter who keeps using the term "driving" the motorcycle, even after being corrected. i'm the sports reporter, and resident "biker".

btw welcome,, as you hang a bit, you will see we are a diverse group of riders. any problem with the bike can be solved here. parts can be had for a song, or in my case a donation to the local animal shelter. and yes we got some real smart arse's here, and i sometimes am the leader of that pack.
enjoy

ok, I got what you're saying, sorry. I'll correct myself. I've already found this forum to be helpful which is why I will be a big part of it. I also DRIVE
a Mazda 3 and I am on the Mazda 3 forums ALOT. I have over 13,000 posts there and nearly half a year in logged in time.
