Good, cheap motorcycle cover for 650??
09/24/08 at 09:23:51

Any advice?  I'm in the market for one and thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has some ideas.  I've looked in ebay but am not sure about sizing.

If I had 25 or so $$ I think I could find some good materials. Gimme a couple hours & I could build one.

Dowco is the leader in motorcycle covers. I like their product and it seems worth the money. They use a metallized fabric on the lower section so you don't worry about burning a hole in the cover if it is still warm when you cover it.

Lots of cheap covers out there, but if you're going to use it a lot and cover the bike while the engine is still kinda warm, find a better quality one.

I stay away from covers since I watched one catch the wind and take the bike for a tumble.

How about one of those BBQ grill covers for those ridiculously wide grills that are basically outdoor kitchens?

Here's a Dowco that is reasonably priced.  It is  also vented to prevent the bike blowover effect cheaper ones may cause.

Ditto on the Dowco Guardian. It's holding up very well from all the Atlantic Ocean is throwing at it.
