Also using the front forks from same model/yr; but it does have a much better front disc setup so stopping power should about double.

I don't suppose the front brake disc from a GS550 could be used on our Savage front wheel? Would love to have "stopping should be about double" effects from it!

California Gender:	Re: Kawi 454 wheels Reply #18 - 04/16/09 at 11:31:20 the disk for the whole gs series (well all that I've looked at) mounts with a 6 bolt pattern. The gs450 has the same disk thickness but different diameter. The gs650 has a different disk thickness as well. Quite a few gs's are dual disk.
