First longer distance ride on my '87. Should be doing 400-600 miles.

Belt starting to make noise again this morning. Need to give it a good cleaning and adjustment.

Tighten nuts and bolts, change the oil/filter. Just installed the Big Crank. Simple install, just had to bend the tabs straight.

Bringing spare nuts/bolts, mini jumper cables (maybe), extra footpeg, 10 oz. flask filled with oil, flashlight, spark plug, headlight bulb, gaffer tape, tools, round loaf of semolina bread, bundle of cash, cell, EZ-Pass. Leather everything.

Leaving the shorty helmet home and using the full face for the ride there and back. Take advantage of the helmet laws, and Maybe do some helmet-free riding on the twisties.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe get a late lunch/early dinner. I'm planning on leaving here round 10-11:00 A.M. Friday.
