The seller is not highly regarded by many of the regular posters on this site. I have not had any dealings with him, but suggest you review this thread before putting in a bid on Ebay:

I replied to your PM..
$72 is too much to pay. Do yourself a favor and do an ebay search for "
dyna muffler"
. You cna get two for 1/2 to 3/4 that price, then sell one here in the marketplace.

James, I am very familiar with this muffler. you can get the same one at JC whitney for 29.99
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ItemBrowse/c-10111/s-10101/p-100000142660/...
with the same adapter but this adapter will not adapt this muffler to your S40. You will also have to purchase this reducer set
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Search?catalogId=10111&storeId=10101&sku=C...
to adapt this muffler to your S40. I know this because I purchased this muffler for my S40 and it looked great on the bike but a bit too loud for me (I work night shift and roll in around 5:30 AM and didnt want to piss off the neighbors). I have all mentioned parts plus a chrome mount bracket which I fabricated for the S40. I am around 40 miles from you. I will sell all for 30.00 if you are interested contact me at the phone # on my website. Gazoo
