New (To Me) Savage

Picked up a Silver 2002 Suzuki Savage yesterday. 7100 miles and in very good shape. The only downside is that the previous owner tossed the factory muffler and replaced it with a Jardine slip on which makes the bike WAAAAAY too noisy for my taste (and my neighbors). I don't want to shell out $300 bucks for a factory replacement. Any syggestions?

You can get a small baffle for the end of the header or front of the muffler which will reduce the noise and air flow drastically.
