The forkbrace does make a lot of difference in stability and I especially noticed it on the freeway plus I think they look cool.
The one offered on this site at one time was the Tkat forkbrace which is the one I have or you can get one made by Superbrace.

I honestly don't recall how much it was but email tkat@tkat.com and see if he still has any fork braces for the Savage.
