Seat Mod Completed

I wanted to try a seat with a lower riding position and didn't want to go the springer route. Contemplated making my own pan and doing the full meal deal foam shaping and covering material. After a brief email to, and reply from Demin, I decided to buy a seat online and see what I could do with it. Good tip, thanks.

Snagged one from eBay and spent the day today disassembling it, modifying it three times, gray primer, gloss black, gluing the foam on a little off center and a little bit before the paint had completely set.

Only spent 10 hours at it, but it's a major mod that's done. A short test ride around the neighborhood and quick stop at one of the local hot rod parking lot gatherings made the day a complete success. Some beautiful cars, a cool VW trike and a high end HD with some blue lights. Nobody asked me nothing about my bike, but these folks are mostly close friends that were mostly hanging out together.

The test ride was great. The seat is a 90% success. Sparked up the driving lights and ... Woohoo ... like it  Grin

Just low enough to be well out of the wind. Probably need more cushion for longer rides but it's great for scooting around.

I'll post photos tomorrow of turn signals, and seat.  Cool
