Memphis Shades Pop Top windshield
08/28/08 at 11:38:42

Hi, I just had a Memphis Shades Pop Top windshield installed on my S40 (2006).  It looks cooler than cool, and I no longer feel as though I am going to be ripped off the bike by the wind at higher speeds.   Cheesy However, there is a fair amount of wind hitting me smack in the middle of my helmet visor, rat-a-tat-a-tat-a-tat quick vibration resulting in my head.  Any suggestions?

If I stretch my neck up a bit, I don't feel this.  Maybe getting a gel pad to sit on would do the trick?

Thanks in advance.
Amy

Tip the top slightly further front, ... 1/2 inch to an inch.

There are a couple of ways to get the rattle out of your helmet.

Raise or lower the windshield.
Tip it forward or back.

Off of the top of the windshield is a little band of turbulance.  In the summer I lower it so the turbulance pushes wind into my helmet.  In the winter I raise it.

Hey firetruck, do you have any pics? I'm looking to put on a windshield on my s-40. Does it remove easily? I like no shield for cruizin and would like to put it on when we go on all day rides. Cool
