I just got a 19" ape hanger handle bar.
So I go to seek those clutch cables and etc. for it.

I cant find a suitable one in my area.
the staff said they dont have the right one for me.
but they got honda shadow one.

Is it any diffs?
actually, I dont know how to communicate with the staff there.
They dont know my bike. Sad

Custom cables can be ordered through an authorized dealer... Smiley guess who  Smiley ...  the thing for the Savage or S40 is that there are 3 types of throttle end mounts, and of course a different one for each type of carb used on the engine.  Also, when making custom cables it is necessary to measure each cable or brake line to within 1/2" along the route the new cables will travel.
I use a small electrical wire or something similar to lay on the bike where I want the new cable, mark each end and then lay the wire out on a flat surface and measure with a tape measure.

Time from order/payment to delivery can be from 2-3 weeks.
If you wish an exact cost estimate I need the measurements for each cable/line, and also whether you want black vinyl, or one of the stainless steel braid types (standard bright, platinum, or carbon color).
All of the stainless braids are the same price for all color versions.

I was measuring it and had a question.  Anyone sell apes with little or no pullback?  Otherwise I'd need to rotate the bars a little to forward that it may look funny.  I'll look around on the net.  If I can find them, I'll order the cables.

Here's the deal.  I just sold my M50.  I was gonna get another bike but the wife and I decided I'd just ride her new '06 S40.  We bought it new this summer.  We'd use the M5o money to pay bills.  I've got $1,000 to use for mods for the S40.  I want apes.  I want apes with little to no pullback.  Somebody help me spend some money!

I've got no experience with apes, so forgive me if this is a stupid suggestion; but have you considered rotating the risers 180 degrees? I did that with my stock bars and it extended my reach forward quite a bit, without having to rorate the actual bar. Might work with an ape setup?

Do you have these cables now?  If so, how was the fit at the throttle?  at the carb?  how did that length work for you ?
any other issue ?

I have it now,but it's not installed yet.I have to bring it to the shop to get it done.I'm gonna be using 13" with 1 " risers,so it won't be that bad.

I've already got the risers turned around with the stock drag bar.  I read that tip on here last week and did it.  I'll get new risers if I can find the apes with little pullback.
