Nice job!!!  It looks good and looks real solid. I like all the holes for strapping stuff down. I bet there'll be a few who will use your idea.

I am a toolmaker and at work I can sometimes make things on lunch and while things are slow and a machine is opened! Cheesy
I have thought about Highway bars but one project at a time,  I look at other ideas before I make things.

I like it! The holes  cosmetically and functionally are very sensible......Lots of places to hook a bungee net or ropes. Looks way better and much stronger than that POS Suzuki puts out. Let us know how it works for you.

Looks plenty sturdy, I was thinking alumininum would also be good so I could buff it up to match the other compnents.

BTW, I cringed as I opened up this thread, fortunately it was better than I thought it would be.

Very nice....when do you go to production?

I've been on the lookout for something to replace my broken Suzuki luggage rack.
