valve on the carb.

Ok, im having trouble removing this piece on my carburetor. Ive actually boogered it up. The needle still goes in and out freely. How do i remove the valve? screw out? pull out? ive already removed the screw and the plate.

Well i have actually put the carb back together after cleaning it, the bike started up, but i cant get it to idle, i have to keep giving it gas, i was unable to remove the valve, or pilot jet (didnt have right tools at time) The pilot jet could be preventing it from idleing right? i have also gotten to the idle mixture screw, and iam goin to adjust it after the carburetor is back on.

the bike sat 2-3 years before i got it.

Thanks for any help.

When you have removed the screw and plate the needle valve bushing come out with needle nose pliers. On E-bay there is a guy in Australia selling the complete needlevalve unit for about 15 A$. Grin
