I will only wear a full face if there isn't a visor. Why?

1. I hate feeling of being inside a bubble while riding
2. It gets stuffy regardless of "cracking it open"
3. Its no fun to have to play "red light, green light" with your visor.
4. The reflections on the inside on a sunny day are EXTREMELY distracting
5. If I wanted glass in front of my face, I would drive a car.

The thing I really don't like about full face helmets is the extreme amount of extra wind drag on your head. If there are a lot of bugs or sand blowing in the wind I just use a bandanna.

I forgot that one! I hated the full face helmets on the highways because checking my blind spot turned into an exercise in whiplash as my head became a big sail

I am considering a lid with eye protection. Basically a shield that covers the eyes down to the nose. Kinda like having a goggle set built in.
